Take a stroll around Jacksonville Beach’s downtown comprised of 12 acres of city-owned property that includes a City Hall, Latham Plaza, and the very popular Sea Walk Pavilion outdoor performance stage. Host to annual events nearly every weekend from April through October, Jacksonville Beach entertains residents and visitors with popular events including Springing the Blues Festival, the annual Opening of the Beaches celebration, and the Fiesta Playera.

Perhaps the most popular location is the Fishing Pier, which offers residents and visitors close up views of the Atlantic Ocean, as well as the ability to fish for deep-water species of fish. The 1,300-foot-long fishing pier on North First Street in Jacksonville Beach is a great place to watch dolphins, cast a line, watch the local surfers or simply enjoy the ocean views.

The Jacksonville Beach oceanfront offers primarily condo living intermixed with hotels, single-family homes, and high-rise condos. Jacksonville Beach has a slight urban feel with lodging options for tourists, a plethora of entertainment and dining along with lots of public beach access for visitors.

The Air and Sea show alternates between NAS Jacksonville and Jacksonville Beach offering a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to watch the Blue Angels perform and entertain.
